Our goal at weDJ is to create DJs, whether you’re happy mixing for fun at home in your bedroom, you want to become a club DJ, perhaps you’d like to become a mobile DJ or you need to brush up on your music creation skills to be a producer DJ – our FREE workshops are designed to help you improve your knowledge and skills.
For the weDJ expo in 2025, we’ve gathered some great industry talent to help you achieve your aspirations. Check out the workshops taking place over the Saturday and Sunday and be sure to grab your tickets to secure your place.

SATURDAY WORKSHOPS
11:30 – 12:30
GET OUT OF THE BEDROOM, AND SOUND GOOD DOING IT
Whether you’re mixing at home or stepping out for your first live gig, understanding your sound is key. DJ 2Four7 shares insights on how to take your setup beyond the bedroom. From choosing the right PA system to getting the most out of your gear in any space. Expect practical advice, performance tips, and stories from the booth to help you play with confidence wherever you go.

ELIJAH PRESENTS. “IF YOU LOVE MUSIC, YOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO DJ”
Elijah Presents ‘If you love music, you should learn how to dj’ – an alternative take on why more people having a tangible relationship with music is good for culture and why there aren’t enough DJs. This started as an idea as part of his ‘Yellow Squares’ note series on Instagram (@eli1ah) and has developed into an editorial project with Beatport. This session is a lecture and Q&A exploring his ideas on the future of new DJing.

PXSSY X VINYL | ALL WOMEN WORKSHOP
YDLR created PXSSY X VINYL with a clear vision: to amplify the presence and talent of female vinyl DJs and provide a platform where female selectors can take centre stage. PXSSY X VINYL is not just about music—it’s about creating a space where female vinyl DJs can thrive, share their passion for vinyl, and inspire the next generation of female DJs.
By showcasing female talent, PXSSY X VINYL will foster a more inclusive and balanced London music scene. Supported by Technics, YDLR will bring her workshop to we DJ 2025 on Saturday at 2.30pm in the education zone.

ALPHATHETA START FROM SCRATCH DJ WORKSHOP WITH TRANCEY PARKER
The WeDJ Expo & AlphaTheta Start From Scratch are proud to present a special DJ workshop hosted by Trancey Parker, designed to support and celebrate neurodiverse DJs.
In this inclusive, hands-on session, Trancey Parker will share practical skills, creative techniques, and personal insights on thriving as a DJ while embracing different ways of thinking and learning.
This inspiring workshop highlights weDJ’s commitment to accessibility, creativity, and community within DJ culture.

PRODUCTION WORKSHOP WITH TAYYLOR MADE
After last years super popular production workshop at we DJ and the massive all women Ableton session earlier in 2025, it was only right weDJ bought this phenomenal producer back for this years expo.
Join renowned producer Tayylor Made at the weDJ Expo for a hands-on Ableton Live workshop. Learn her creative process, production tips, and how to elevate your beats using Ableton’s powerful tools.
A must-attend session for any DJ or producer looking to level up their sound.

ALPHATHETA START FROM SCRATCH DJ WORKSHOP WITH MERCEDES BENSON
The WeDJ Expo & AlphaTheta Start From Scratch are proud to present a special DJ workshop hosted by Mercedes Benson — DJ, curator, and champion of women in music.
In this inspiring session, Mercedes will share her journey, creative techniques, and industry insights to help women build confidence and elevate their DJ careers.
A celebration of talent, community, and female empowerment behind the decks.

SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP WITH J-GADGET
Join J-Gadget at the WeDJ Expo for a practical social media workshop designed to help DJs and creatives grow their online presence.
Josh will share tips on content creation, audience engagement, and using social platforms to build a personal brand and boost bookings that have made him a rising star on Tik Tok and Instagram.
A must for any DJ looking to turn their social media into a powerful career tool.
