weDJ launched in 2024 with a FREE event open to all DJs, from those at the start of their musical journey through to seasoned professionals.

Our core focus is to provide an opportunity to learn, network and get hands on with the very latest DJ equipment, music production gear, sound systems and lighting.

Over the course of two days (October 13th and 14th 2024) weDJ took over the Novotel West (close to the Olympia exhibition centre) to host an open decks session, industry panels, DJ and music production workshops, the Sunday Scratch Jam battle, and the Controller Cuts contest. The expo connected DJs and producers to the latest technological innovations and allowed them to get hands on with the latest technology from our carefully selected brands.

After the event, we decided to continue our mission to make music accessible through DJing, and have since hosted an Open Decks session, an All Women Ableton music production workshop (hosted by Tayylor Made) and three months worth of DJ training, all for FREE!

WHAT’S ON

JUNE DJ WORKSHOPS

After our amazing EXPO in October, our last run of workshops in April and our open decks event in December… the movement continues.  We have 4 FREE workshops at Westend DJ’s Central London branch in Hanway Street. These will be taught by Terry and his tutors from On The Rise.

You don’t need to bring anything with you. All music and kit is provided.
